Jimmy Don Manry

Jimmy was a simple man who enjoyed simple pleasures in life. Nascar, good friends, good music and a cold beer. A loving husband and father who adored his daughter. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas and grew up in Arlington, Texas and attended Arlington High School. He moved to Longview, Texas in May 1981. He then married Janice Ann Smith on August 24th, 1981, in Parker County. On June 12th, 1989, they had their daughter, Laura Marie. Jimmy was a painter by trade. He is survived by his wife, Jan, daughter, Laura, and his beloved dog, Max of Longview, stepmom, Mary Manry of Mansfield, sisters, Rhonda Lowe and husband, David of North Richland Hills, Sheree Prince and husband, Doug of Burleson, brother, Steve Manry and wife, Wendi of Alvarado, nephews, James Loveless and wife, Michelle and great nieces, Keira and Lexi, Brett Manry, Bradley Manry, and Russ Lowe. nieces, Emily Lowe and Amanda Gross. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joy White and father, James E. Manry. Services will be held Saturday August 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Northwood Church, 4376 Tryon Rd. Longview, Texas. Reception to follow at Firewater Saloon.
