Ronald Eugene Edkins

     Ronald Eugene Edkins was born March 7, 1949, to Dorothy Ellen and Eugene Luis Edkins in Akron, Colorado and left this life for his heavenly home on the May 8, 2017.
     He was a loving husband, son, brother and grandfather. He had three daughters Wendy, Beverly and Susie.
     He never met a stranger, he loved people. He had such a belly laugh everyone knew he had entered the room. He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 26 years 11 months and 6 days. He always said A.A. saved his life.
     He leaves behind a wife, Carolyn, of 45 years; three daughters; five grandchildren; two brothers Rick and Terry; dad Eugene; numerous aunts and cousins, many friends and extended family who will miss him deeply.
     A memorial service will be held in his honor and will be announced at a later date.
