Freddie Dee Willett Obituary

A life well lived

Freddie Dee Willett, the son of the late Bill Willett and Margie Marie Willett of Longview, Texas who was born on January 4th, 1952 at Gregg Memorial Hospital was united with our Lord Jesus Christ on September 10th, 2019. Freddie passed on in the peace of his home in Longview, TX. He attended Pine Tree High School and Kilgore College prior to continuing a successful career as an Oil and Gas Landman for over 3 decades serving the energy needs of East Texas and beyond.

His generous life of love to all humankind was as beautiful as the nature he enjoyed during his outdoor moments as an avid motorcycle rider, during fishing, target shooting and hunting trips in the typical Texan fashion with his loving friends and family. Everyone that knew him will attest to the fact that his favorite hobbies were outdoor activities and to that he lit up the most while riding his motorcycles, more so "The Honda Goldwing".

Freddie accepted The Lord Jesus Christ as His Lord and savior at an early age and remained faithful to the day he departed after blessing and serving several Christian Ministries and Outreach programs for the underprivileged and orphans in Texas and beyond throughout the entire 67 years of his life. As a result of his great sense of humor, pleasant, genuine and caring personality, Freddie was loved by many, extending well beyond the USA. His beautiful life will forever be cherished. While his family and friends grieve his loss, they rejoice in the certainty of eternity knowing that he trusted Jesus Christ as his savior.

Preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Marilyn Willett and Janette Willett and his daughter Rachel Willett, Freddie Willett is survived by his sweetheart Juliet Banga Willett, his son Bill Dee Willett, his brother Jeffrey Willett, his sister Gina Willett, his in laws Jacob, Anna, Jeffrey, James and Joseph Banga, and a multitude of very dear cousins, family, colleagues and friends spanning from his childhood to adulthood including Mike, Bubba ,David, Teresa, Barbara, Cynthia, Mary, Aunt Peggy, Tommy, Steve, Raymond, Vaughn, Jannette, Dave, Tom, and so many more all over the globe.
