Geraldine Ruth Bort Swimm. 89, of Longview, Texas passed away February 10, 2018. She was 1 of 16 children. Born October 2, 1928 in Baldwinsville, NY to Arthur McKinley Bort and Florence Elizabeth Snow Bort.

Geraldine (Gerry) was a gifted baker, providing special occasion cakes for Johnny Cace’s for many years, manager of Chicago Hot Dog in the Longview Mall & receptionist at DHS.

She was predeceased by husband, Robert, Sr. & daughter Cindy in 2017.

She is survived by children, Robert, Jr. (Marsha), Kathleen (Joe) McGlothlin, John, David (Linn), Vickie (Keith) Bailey, Jeffery (Susan), Bryan & Juli (Todd) Cordray, and 3 generations of grandchildren.

Thank you to Heartsway Hospice for great care.

Interment will be at Rosewood Cemetery.
