Kevin Franklin Walpole (63) went from his earthly home on the morning Thursday, January 9, 2020 to meet Jesus face to face in his heavenly home. Kevin always said”He talked to Jesus more than we all realized and he knew “HE WAS THE MAN “. He was saved as a small child at Oakland Heights Baptist Church.
Kevin was born in Longview to Cecil Walpole and Elizabeth Ramsey Walpole on August 29, 1956. He lived in Longview all of his life.
After graduation at Pine Tree High School, he went to work for Dubose Equipment Co. Later, he went into business in the oil and gas industry where he remained for over forty years.
His hobbies included building street rods, gaming, and barbecuing for friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father Cecil and his mother Elizabeth Walpole. He is survived by Sabrina Briggs Walpole, his wife of 32 years, a daughter, Marqui Walpole of Longview, son Coty Walpole of Fort Worth, and Steeley Walpole Francis, her husband Jacob, and grandson Henley of Longview. He is also survived by his sister Anita Walpole Cole, her husband Mark, as well as nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 3:00 PM followed by a memorial celebration at 4:00 PM at the Sanctuary Church, 1800 N Eastman Rd, Longview, Tx 75601.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Texas Home Health Hospice, who helped to make him comfortable and were so helpful in his last days.
