Michael Keith Cobb

     Michael Keith Cobb passed away on Friday, April 7th, 2017, at the age of 64. Mike was born to Billy Cobb and Dorothy Little on October 17, 1952. He attended Pine Tree High School and was honorably discharged from the Navy after serving a brief stint. He became disabled due to a heart attack and a series of strokes. He was employed at Longview Mechanical Contractors.
     Mike was an extremely hard worker and an avid fan of NASCAR, football, good food and fun. His gregarious, generous and playful nature endeared him to all he met; consequently, he had a wide and varied circle of friends and acquaintances who will forever remember him through an abundance of fond memories and amusing anecdotes. His unique laugh is indelibly etched in the memories of his loved ones, surely eliciting smiles whenever it is recalled.
     He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Little, his sister, Gail Wilson, and his brother, Billy Alan Cobb. He is also survived by his nieces: Amy Lessing, Katie McKinley, Emily Kelley and Angela Cobb, and one nephew, Matthew Cobb. He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Rowe Cobb.
     No immediate service is planned, but his family and friends will honor him at Pine Tree High School's homecoming in 2017.
