Stephen Howard Matthews, Jr

Stephen Howard Matthews Jr, "Peewee" was born in Longview, Texas February 14, 1978 and went to his eternal life September 10, 2019. Peewee was an avid fisherman and loved being outside while working or just piddling with odd and end things. He was a true friend to everyone he met and was always a phone call away if you needed him. He was a member of Carlisle Baptist Church. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Stephen Howard Matthews Sr. And wife Debbie of Hallsville,Tx. Mother Kathy Waller Thomas of Gladewater, Tx. Daughter,  Victoria Matthews (Tristan) of Rock-port Texas. Sisters Amanda Stembridge and Husband Greg of Longview , Lori Adkins and Husband Kody of Hallsville, Theresa Nelson of Longview, Melissa Griffin of Hallsville, and Lisa Matthews of Kennedy, Texas. Brother and best friend Brandon Matthews and wife Rebecca of Hallsville and Jeremy Mcguire. And his girl friend Heather Inman. Along with Aunts, Uncles, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Memorial service will be held September 17, 2019 at 2:00pm. Flowers to be delivered to funeral home from 10am to 12pm Tuesday.
