Thomas F. Dunn

Thomas F Dunn, age 89 of Kilgore Texas, went to be with his Lord on Feb 6th, 2019. Thomas was born in St Louis Missouri in 1929 and married his wife of 63 years, Jean, in 1955.

Thomas attended college and university in Iowa, Illinois, and Oklahoma, earning his PhD from Oklahoma State University. Thomas taught science at LeTourneau University, owned air conditioning service companies, and was in research at Baylor College of Medicine and Salk Institute. He was active in his local church and led his family in faith through his example. He had a passion for missions, both local and international. He served as a volunteer chaplain in the Texas correctional system.

Thomas is survived by his wife Jean, their three sons Scott (Sharisse), Timothy (Debbie), and Joel, as well as five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A memorial service celebrating Thomas’s life will be held at First Baptist Church of Kilgore at 2 PM on Saturday February 23, 2019.
