Alvin Wayne Hartley, a cherished husband, brother, and friend, passed away on September 10, 2024, in Longview, TX, at the age of 68. Born on August 8, 1956, in Mansfield, LA, Alvin was known for his warmth, kindness, and passion for both his work and hobbies.
Alvin is survived by his devoted wife, Kimberly Leur, with whom he shared a deep and enduring love. He is also mourned by his siblings: Frankie Hartley and his wife Carey, Scotty Hartley and his wife Laci, and Melinda Gail Hartley Wickoff, who is married to Randy Wickoff.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin D. Hartley and Addie May Wimberly Hartley, whose loving influence shaped his character and values.
Alvin worked diligently at Jots Rentals in Longview, TX, where he was not only a dedicated employee but also a beloved colleague, known for his camaraderie and cheerful spirit. In his personal time, Alvin enjoyed playing computer games, a hobby that allowed him to relax and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
