Barbara Miles Obituary
Barbara Dell Miles left her earthly home on June 25,2021 to be with her Lord and Savior.
She was born in Pittsburg, TX on October 2, 1938 to Howard W. Farrar and Mildred Farrar Easterly.
She was married to Michie Zane Miles February 3, 1956. This union was blessed with three sons, Michie Eugene Miles, Steven Zane Miles and Kenneth Alan Miles.
Barbara enjoyed the outdoors, camping, gardening and communing with nature. She enjoyed the sun on her face and the wind in her hair.
Barbara and Michie made Kilgore their home in 1973 after moving from San Bernardino, CA.
Barbara worked for the Kilgore Public Library, Marshall Supply and Lakewood Manor apartments before retiring.
She was preceded in death by her husband Michie Zane Miles, son Kenneth Miles, her mother Ollie Mildred Easterly, father Howard Farrar, stepfather Elmer Easterly, grandson Nicholas Miles, sister Maxine Brown, brother Howard Farrar, sister Wanda Harlowe, sister Winnie Griffin and sister Lola Charlene Farrar.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michie E. (Gene) Miles and wife Kay and Steven Zane Miles.
Grandchildren Scott Miles, wife Leanna, Bradley Miles, wife Amanda and Sunni Miles Cates, husband Robert, Heather Miles Applegate, husband Ben, Trevor Miles, wife Krissie, Lucas Miles, Adam Miles, and Joseph Miles. Great grandchildren Caleb Miles, Rushmore and Maggie Miles, Clark and Hadley Cates, Miles Applegate, Everleigh and Natara Miles.
Brother Charles Farrar and sister Dorothy Daggert. Daughter in law Dahlia Miles and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be set at a later date for family and friends.
