Obituary
Brett Dean Slack was born August 17,1961 in Cozad, Nebraska to the late Doris Scrutchfield. Brett attended Harleton High School where he was an avid football player. After graduation, Brett enlisted in the United States Navy where he received First & Second Sea Service ribbons and the Navy Expeditionary medal. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Brett started a career as a truck driver in East Texas. Not long after, Brett settled at Waukesha Pierce where he retired after 15+ years. Brett loved his 44 ounce fountain Cokes and Marlboro Cigarettes, but nothing compared to his love for his children and grandchildren.
Brett is proceeded in death by his mother, Doris Scrutchfield. He is survived by two brothers, Steve Slack & Shawn Fenstermacher; one sister, Stacy moon; three daughters Jennifer Palmer, Patricia King, & Brittany Woods; two sons Robby Templeton & Justin Slack; 17 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held December 11, 2022 2PM @ Driller Park Veterans Memorial - Kilgore
