Obituary

David Wayne Tabor was born on May 15, 1958, in Dallas, TX and passed on July 18, 2022, in Longview, TX. He was the middle of 3 children. He loved animals, especially his long-time dog, Tawny. David spent much time with his grandparents, Sam and Mabel Aills of Longview, TX, and grandmother, Marjorie Tabor from Grand Prairie, TX. He loved to play the guitar and never gave up the hope of “making it to Nashville.” He loved to fish and always kept a sense of humor.

David was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Lee Tabor, Sr.; mother, Nellie Ruth Aills; and brother Ivan Lee Tabor, Jr. He is survived by his sister, Janet LaNell Loveland of Southaven, MS., along with Aunt Margaret Hilton of Gilmer, TX; Aunt Linda Owens of Dallas, TX; Uncle Kenneth Aills of Tyler, TX; and numerous cousins, one nephew, two nieces, two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
