Diana Miller Obituary

Diana was born March 27, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, to her parents, Paul and Hila Pepmiller. She grew up in Richardson, Texas, and attended Plano Senior High. Later, she graduated from Baylor University with a teaching degree. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Education Counseling from the University of North Texas. She loved teaching children, especially, second grade. She taught in Irving, Plano, Lewisville, Richardson, and finally in Spring Hill.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Miller, their three children, Amanda Witherspoon and her husband, Michael, Andrew Miller, and Alyssa Miller. She is also survived by her sister, Rhonda Weise and her husband Bill, their children, Will Weise, Hannah, RJ and Emery Bussey, and Sarah and Kyle Tellez. She is also survived by Mark’s mother, Betty Jo Miller and Mark’s brother, Gregg and Catherine Miller and their three children, Geoffrey Miller, Ian and Adrienne Miller, and Preston Miller.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Paul and Hila Pepmiller, and her father-in-law, Lloyd Miller.

Diana has battled Leiomyosarcoma cancer for two years. Even through this battle, her faith in God and His Son Jesus remained strong and continued to deepen. She loved doing Bible studies with her friends and her cousin Julia. She was often encouraged by friends and family sharing Bible verses and prayers with her. She also loved to encourage others with verses and prayers, too.

Diana loved Jesus Christ and she wanted these words spoken at her funeral: “If you are here today, it is because I love you. I want to see you again in heaven, so please become a follower of Jesus Christ”. Her family takes great comfort in knowing we will see her again. We are helped daily by God, who sustains us, provides for us, and gives us hope. Her testimony is that God provides all that we need, in abundance. During her last days, she came to trust that God would take care of her family and friends, even as she went on to heaven. Thank you, God, for her life.
