Elizabeth “Diane” Turner of Harleton Tx passed away on March 30, 2022 at the age of 59 after complications from a Stroke. Diane is survived by her 2 sons Cody Rutland and Brandon Wheeler, Daughter In Laws Michelle Rutland and Ashley Wheeler as well as her 4 grandchildren Marlee, Stormie, Vivian, and Maverick. Diane was born in Fort Hood Tx on February 19, 1963, to Quinton and Bettye Turner. Diane graduated from Harleton High School in 1982 She went on to have 2 sons Cody and Brandon and devoted her time to be a stay-at-home mother and later grandmother.
Diane was an adventurous person early in life and enjoyed being the life of any party, tending to horses and going on trail rides, spending countless hours at baseball and football fields, baking custom cakes for birthdays, and oddly enough shelling pecans she would harvest herself and pass out to family and friends on holidays. Her true calling came on May 25, 2010, when her first granddaughter Marlee was born. From the first moment they met they shared a special bond that will continue to last forever. She continued her love as a grandmother when Vivian, Stormie, and Maverick were born. Any opportunity she had to spoil her grandkids or entertain them with toys or games she took. Diane will truly be missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. She has touched manly lives over the years.
A memorial is scheduled for 2:00PM, Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at East Texas Funeral Home of Longview.
