Douglas Jay Robinson

Doug Robinson, son of late Thelma Machann, was born on January 28th, 1952 in Raymondville, TX. He passed away on October 12th, 2024. He is preceded in death by his brother Steve Robinson. He is survived by his wife, Cindi Robinson of Longview, TX, daughter Brittany Jones and Son-in-Law Jeremy Jones of Wylie, TX and their 5 children Caitlyn Burrow (20), Emily Burrow (17), Jensen Jones (5), Chloe Jones (22), and Anya Jones (16), his son Jeremy Robinson of Dallas, TX, and his daughter Amanda Carr of Beckville, Texas and her daughter Kristen Hanson (21), Sister Kim Aguirre and brother-in-law Hector Aguirre of San Angelo and their son Matt Aguirre of San Angelo.
Doug was a very laid-back and warmhearted man. He knew how to do just about everything under the sun so he was always there to lend a hand when help was needed. He was a wonderful husband and father who always had the patience needed when times got tough. He was always there when bike tires went flat or cars broke down or electronics went haywire and never missed his children's soccer games! He loved being Papaw to his grandchildren and often travelled to watch them in their soccer or tee-ball games as well. In his younger years, he loved camping and fishing and as he grew older, his hobby of choice was playing golf and cheering on the Cowboys! And let's never forget that he made a mean brisket! When the family got together, he was always smoking or grilling something delicious! His goofy dad jokes and teasing him about watching shows about finding Bigfoot always kept us chuckling. He will be missed.
