Edgar J. (Joe) Miller, was born on March 19th, 1932, passed away at home peacefully on December 7th, 2024, at age 92. A beloved father of Steve (Jennifer), Larry (Julie), Nancy Brainard, Mary Beth Boudreau, Richard (Michelle), and Robert (Theresa) Miller.
Grandfather to Sara (Steve), John (Erin), Lauren, Kara, Greg (Avari), Steven, Alexa, Nicole, Jordan (Artemio), Carlos, Yesika (Malik), Emma (Caleb), Adri (Tony), Ellie, Daniel (Emma) and 12 Great grandchildren. A cherished member of community, Joe's life was a testament to his unwavering Catholic faith, dedication to his family, and boundless love for those around him.
Joe was a proud father of six children, a role he cherished deeply, and a doting grandfather to many. He was a US Air Force veteran. His legacy of love, wisdom, and kindness lives on in the hearts of the family and all that knew him. A man of God, Joe's life was guided by a profound faith that he shared with others through acts of service in Jesus Christ, compassion, and enduring commitment to his church.
Throughout his life, Joe touched countless lives with his generous spirit, sense of humor, and unshakeable integrity. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his gentle nature, and the deep joy he found in spending time with his loved ones. His influence will continue to be felt through the generations he leaves behind.
A funeral mass will be held to celebrate Joe's life and his enduring legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Covenant House 2727 N Kingshighway Blvd, St Louis, MO 63113 or covenanthouse.org, in his memory. His family finds comfort in knowing that Joe is now at peace, reunited with his loved ones, and resting in the arms of his Savior Jesus Christ.
Joe will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all those who were touched by his love and faith.
