Edna Cecilia Eastoe Hooker passed away on October 23, 2020 in Longview, Texas surrounded by her loving family.
Edna was born on November 22, 1927 in London, England to Albert and Louisa Eastoe. She traveled to the United States in 1949 on the Queen Elizabeth. She settled in Houston, Texas where she met her husband, T.C. Hooker Jr. Edna and T.C. were married on December 20, 1950 and spent nearly 60 years together.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband T.C. Hooker, son Ronald Hooker, daughter Kathy Stein, her parents, four brothers and sister.
Edna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Ronnie Harrison; grandchildren Shaun Harrison and wife Ashley, Cody Harrison and wife Amanda, Joseph Hooker and wife Abbie, Laura Rutherford and husband John, Phillip Stein, and Gabrielle Stein; great grandchildren Blake and Emma Rutherford, Jackson, Benjamin and Cora Hooker, Teagan and Emmalee, and Hunter Harrison; and brother Bernard Eastoe.
Edna will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a dedicated member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Dallas, TX. The family will have a private graveside service November 7th.
