Granville Berry Stalnaker, Jr

It is with deep sorrow and profound respect that we announce the passing of Granville Berry Stalnaker, 82, of Henderson, Texas, who departed this life on May 12, 2025.
Granville, "Dan" Stalnaker was born on August 23, 1943 in Weston, West Virginia, and proudly served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He enlisted in 1961, and served with dedication, courage, and selfless service. During his service, he received numerous honors including the Joint Service Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Humanitarian Service Medal.
Following his military service, he continued to serve the community and was employed at Texas Utilities and Rusk County Courthouse, and remained a source of strength and integrity to family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jennifer Stalnaker. He is survived by sons Scott Stalnaker and Justin Stalnaker and daughter Shelly Vannatta, grandchildren Zachry Stalnaker, Kaleb Hoogendoorn, Kara Vannatta and Cory Smith.
