Heinrich Deinbeck Obituary

Henry Horst Deinbeck was born in Vienna, Austria on March 12, 1940 to Hermine Buchur and Karl Deinbeck. He was raised by his mother Hermine and stepfather Hubbard McNeal in the states before returning to Austria. He met his wife Christine Deinbeck in Vienna and they were later married in Wein. They made their home in the states in the 60’s. He passed away with family by his side January 22, 2021.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Christine Deinbeck, his son Wilhelm Heinrich Deinbeck, daughter Erika Maria Deinbeck, granddaughters Raven Deinbeck and Devin Penwell, and grandsons Dalton Richards, Garrett Overman and Ty Overman. He also is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Lori and Werner Kettner and sister Rose McNeal.

He was a brilliant, hardworking man, lending his engineering expertise to brewing and producing products for such companies as Schlitz Beer, and Stroh's Brewing Company for well over 30 years, and then as an independent contractor for Campbells Soup until his retirement. Throughout his life, he loved to tinker with cars, motorcycles and scooters and was always eager to share his knowledge with others.

If you were one of the lucky ones, Henry would captivate you with many stories of his past experiences, such as growing up during the war, coming to America and starting a new life and a family, or how much things cost “back in the day” (LOL). He loved spending time with his puppy dogs during his retirement. Even with his health failing, he was always there for his family until the very end, always and forever being OPA. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, and his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. A private family service will be held at a later date. East Texas Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be left at easttexasfuneral.com
