Jace Daniel Taylor, 22, of Overton, Texas, died on January 13, 2022, getting hit by a drunk driver just outside of Tyler. He was born January 7, 2000, in Kilgore, Texas a son of Melissa A. Taylor. Through his formative years, spent in Overton, Texas, he loved riding horses, bulls, fishing, hunting, bonfires, MMA fighting, and always had to have a cold beer in his hand. What he loved more than anything was spending time with his daughter, Ansley, his family and his friends. Jace was proceeded in death by his maternal grandfather John Taylor Sr., step grandfather David Swinney, fraternal Grandmother Mary Jo Daughtry. He leaves behind a very beloved daughter, Ansley Cora Taylor; mother, Melissa Ann Taylor; father, Michael "David" Irwin; grandmother, Patricia Swinney; brother, John White; two sisters, Samantha Lynn and Larae West; Uncle, John Taylor (Candy); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and tons of brothers and sisters, too many to list; leaving behind a girlfriend, Kayla Smith with his unborn miracle child.
Services will be 10 AM, Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at East Texas Funeral home of Longview, performed by Rev. Colby L. Walsh (Fero).
