Jeannie Mae Branch

Jeannie Mea Hibbart received her heavenly wing on Aug. 22, 2021. Jeannie was born on Oct. 19, 1952 to Elvia and Helen Hibbart in Cleveland, Texas. Jeannie was married to Eddie Baker for 33 years and had four children together. Years later, she met James Branch and later married.

Jeannie worked for KHS in the cafeteria for several years. She then changed career paths and went into security work from 2000 until her passing. Jeannie loved the Lord but she especially loved her family. She loved to cook, sew, play card games and make cookies with her grand-babies.

Jeannie Branch is preceded in death by both her parents Elvia and Helen Hibbart. Her husband James Branch. Her brother Robert Hibbert, and sister Avalon. Jeannie Branch leaves behind brothers and sisters, Hoyt Hibbart, Edward Hibbart, Elvia Ray Hibbart, Martha Ann, and Audrey Pearl. Jeannie also leaves behind four children and spouses, Virginia Foster of Kilgore, TX, Elwood and Michelle Baker of Kilgore, TX, Donovan and Cindy Baker of Athens, TX, Margaret Baker and partner Matt Mathews of Longview, TX. Jeannie also has several grandchildren she leaves behind, Colton and Lisa Baker Glade Water, TX, Dylan and Ashly Baker of Gilmer, TX. Anna Marie Baker of Kilgore, TX, BJ Hillyer of Kilgore, TX, Makayla Hillyer of Kilgore, TX, Ashley Sebastian of Athens, TX, Drake Baker of Athens, TX. Great-grandchildren are Mariah McMillion, Maliyah McMillion, Josh Baker, Scarlett Baker, Jackson Baker, Eveleigh Abendroth, Keaton Abendroth and Layla Abendroth.

Cremation services will be provided by East Texas Funeral Home
