Jeffery Scott White

Jeffrey Scott White passed away September 8, 2021. He was born August 18, 1954 in Johnson City, Tennessee to William Mack and Jo Helen White. He grew up in Longview and was a Lobo graduate. After high school he served his country in the United States Navy. Upon his return to Longview, he began his career as a truck driver and had many adventures on the road until his retirement in 2018. Jeff was known as “Rattlesnake” on the citizens band radio and carried this nickname throughout his life. He was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed golfing. He will be missed by many family and friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, William Mack and Jo Helen White. He is survived by his son, Justin White; brother, David White; two granddaughters; nieces and a nephew. Cremation is under the direction of the Cammack Family at East Texas Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Centre Presbyterian Church in Lakeport, TX.
