Jerel "Jerry" Wayne Roland

Jerel “Jerry” Wayne Roland passed away on June 4th, 2021 at the age of 69, in Gilmer, TX.

Jerel is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sheila Young Roland of Gilmer, TX; Brothers Rusty, Kenny and Scott; Sons Jeremy, Jason and Justin; Daughter Samantha; Grandchildren Greyson, Julia, Cashalynn, Sean, Chandler and Emma; Great-Grandchildren Asher and Arabella.  He is preceded in Death by Daughter Kelly Noel, Mother Christine, and multiple other family members.

Jerel is remembered by family and friends as a hard worker spending most of his career in the Oil and Gas Industry. He also spent many late nights and weekends on the baseball fields as an umpire throughout East Texas. In Lieu of Flowers the family ask that you make small donation to your local youth baseball association in honor of Jerel.
