It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Jerry Deloris Baker on February 12, 2025 age 78 of Ore City, Texas. Jerry was born on November 28, 1946 in Pahokee Florida to Ralph and Geraldine Dees.
Jerry met the love of her life and beloved husband Robert Baker of 25 years in Longview Texas. Jerry was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, and the love and support for her family and friends.
Jerry worked for Stemco for 22 years where she also retired from. After retirement she loved spending time with her husband, children, all of her beautiful plants and flowers, and her numerous dogs she adored.
Proceeding in joining the lord before her: Father and mother Ralph and Geraldine Dees, sons Dennis and Kenneth Dees, brothers Larry and Roy Dees, Uncle Denny Kannady and cousin Danny Kannady.
Survived by husband Robert Baker of Ore City, Tx, son and daughter Sam Baker of Ore City, Tx., Jamie Bridges of Diana Tx, Aunt Margaret Kannady of Joplin, MO., cousin Janet Kannady of Mount Juliet,
TN., and granddaughter Angela Gray of Longview TX. Friends Dennis and Michelle Kennedy.
Private Funeral Services are under the direction of East Texas Funeral Home. Flowers may be sent to the home of the Baker family. Private funeral Services will take place at the home of the Bakers at a later date.
