Jerry Wayne Brantley Turlington, 17 of Longview Tx, passed away on March 16,2024 following a tragic car accident.
He was born August 30, 2006, in Kilgore Tx, to Shelby Brantley and Julie Springs. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone, was passionate about the things he loved and spoke nothing but the truth whether you wanted to hear it or not. He is survived by his mother Julie Springs and stepfather Jacob Landers, of Longview, father Shelby Brantley and stepmother Ariel Crump of Tatum, brother Preston Brantley, of Tatum, sister Victoria Brantley, of Longview, brother Tripp Brantley, Kash Brantley, Braylen Bickham, of Tatum, Brendan Landers and Azhure Landers, of Longview grandparents Becky Turlington, of Tatum, Joey Brantley, of Galveston, Jeri Ann Landers and Charles Landers, of Kilgore, uncle Tim Brantley, of Tatum, uncle Douglas Brantley wife Amber, of Jacksonville, uncle John Brantley wife Britney, of Tatum, uncle Sam Busher, of Gladewater, aunt Kaci Shaw husband Mike, of Gladewater, aunt Amanda Shaffer husband Darren, of Georgia, aunt Miranda Clayborn husband Billy, of Harleton, aunt Hayley Mason, of Gladewater, as well as numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his pepaw Jerry, grandpa Wayne, grandma Carolyn, uncle Dewaine and his best friend Rowdy. A special thank you to everyone on the scene for your bravery and quick actions that made it possible for us to donate his organs and save at least two lives.
Services for Jerry Wayne will be held Friday, March 22, 2024, at 10 am at Tatum Church-Living Waters, 109 W Stevens St. in Tatum. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 5-7pm at East Texas Funeral Home, 6522 McCann Rd in Longview.
