Jim Ed Walker, a longtime resident of Longview, Texas, passed away November 6, 2019, in a Longview hospital. Jim was born on August 4, 1941, in Gonzales, Texas to the late Blanch “Nanny” Anders and Julious Walker.
Mr. Walker filled his time by repairing old cars and lawnmowers. As his health declined, he enjoyed painting with oil paints and loved to watch old westerns. In addition to his parents, his brothers Bill, Roger, Donald, Curtis, Jackie and one sister, Delores Willgus precede him in death.
Left to cherish his memor are his wife of 44 years, Donna Walker as well as his children, Sammy and wife Connie Walker of Big Sandy; Angela and husband, Keith Avery of Round Rock. Grandchildren include, Rylie and Gracey Walker, Josh and Andrew Avery. Brothers David Walker and wife, Linda of Marshall; Gary Walker and wife, Pat of Florida; his mother in law, Alyne Harrell of Hawkins.
His blessings didn’t end with them. He also had numerous nieces and nephews who are sure to miss him too.
