Jimmy Bunn Obituary
Jimmy Bunn, 70, of Gilmer, Texas, passed away on April 4, 2025.
Jimmy worked in the oil and gas business for many years and ran his own pest control company for over 35 years. He was a hard worker, a straight talker, and someone who could always make you laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Meridith Engemann Bunn, and a big family who loved him.
His children are Shalon James (kids: Connor and Amelia), Jesse and Julie Bunn (kids: Laycee and Karlie), Andrew Bunn, Collin and Kimberly Bunn (son: Ollie), Taylor and Catarina Bunn (son: August), and Janie and Justin Charrier (kids: Lillie and Jaxson).
His step-children are Brittany and Jacob Wright (kids: Adleigh, Myles, and Jordan) Carly Almaraz, Anna and Nick McCracken (kids: Ella and James), and Ricky Almaraz.
He is also survived by his siblings: Carole and Wayne Barton, Gene Bunn, Joe and Liz Bunn, Casey and Phylis Bunn, and Ann Stegall.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Cora Bunn; his brothers Willis and Mike Bunn; his sister Dorothy Holman; and his son Drew Bunn.
He'll be missed more than words can say.
A service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at the Kelsey Cemetery Heritage Center in Kelsey. The Heritage Center is located at 6380 Magnolia Rd, Gilmer, Texas 75644.
