Joan Marie (Meyer) Meyer

Joan Meyer was born June 20, 1959, to Joseph and Betty Meyer in St. Charles Missouri and was the 2nd oldest of 4 children

She graduated from Francis Hall High school in St. Charles, Missouri. After being a head start teacher for many years she then went on to have a long career with Chrysler and Johnson Controls.

Joan passed away February 22, 2023, in her home in Pittsburg, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Betty Meyer.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Lynn Armour; daughters, Jamie Ditch; Leamber Meyer; Natasha Meyer; son, Kyle Armour and daughter in law, Ashley Armour; brother, Mike Meyer; niece and nephew, Travis and Dory Meyer; sister, Vicki Roby; 10 grandchildren, Alazaya Meyer; Karma Suddarth; Malakyi Armour; Thomas Parish; Serinity Meyer; Shaun Helm; Brooks Ditch; Kyren Armour; Kylie Armour; and Adrian Helm.

Joan was cherished and recognized for her selflessness and love for others. She thought of everyone before thinking of herself. Her love for her grandbabies and Pepsi was unprecedented. In many people's opinion, she was one of the best cooks in the world. Her potato salad and banana pudding cannot be matched. She loved the beach and bbq porksteaks. She was a first responder during the Oklahoma city bombing and was remembered for saving many lives during that tragedy
