Her passing in Longview, Texas, due to Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Cancer, has left a void in the hearts of many.
Kim's life was marked by her unending devotion to her family. Though she said a sorrowful goodbye to her mother, Cynthia Clark, Kim's nurturing spirit lives on through her beloved siblings, Marguerite (Michael) Conley and Theodore (Carmen) Cain. She was a pillar of strength and love for her children: daughters Kathryn (Jamal) Davenport and Patricia (Tyler) Wilson; sons Manuel Tamez Jr, Luis Tamez, Christopher (Mollie) Tamez, Juan Jose (Katelyn) Tamez, and Miguel Tamez. Her grandchildren, Shaiann (Cameron) Hearrell, Dakota, Avione, Miguel, Madison (Hunter), Zachary, Alyssa, Audrey, Noah, Mason, Asher, Gavin, Hayden, Benjamin, Annalisa, and the late Sophia Tamez, brought her immense joy, as did her great-grandchildren, Alaina and the yet-to-arrive Miles.
Kim shared a unique bond with Manuel Tamez, her husband; though separated their cherished friendship endured through the years, reflecting the depth of her capacity for love and forgiveness. Her extended family, comprising several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, all found solace and comfort in her presence.
