Lawrence Humphrey Frausto, affectionately known to all as Larry was born on August 13, 1949, in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California. He graduated to glory on May 14, 2024, in Longview, Texas. His departure was one of peace, as natural causes claimed his life.
Larry's journey through life has been nothing short of extraordinary. His life story is a testament to a loving, merciful, and gracious God. His early years in East Los Angeles were foundational, shaping the man he would become in both the good and bad. One of Larry's most accomplished roles was holding a position as a Gang Consultant where he had a fervent passion, working tirelessly to bridge divides and foster a spirit of cooperation among the gangs of his community. His efforts were pivotal in maintaining peace and promoting mutual respect among the local gangs, proving that dialogue and understanding can triumph over conflict and strife.
Larry's retirement in 2014 marked the end of a professional path characterized by diligence and commitment at CBS studio, where he continued to exhibit his friendliness and passion as a maintenance set builder.
As we celebrate Larry's life, let us honor his memory by embodying the values he tried to instill in our lives, but with a heavy heart at times fell short in his own life.
Larry Frausto's story does not end here. He loved his family very much and was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his 8 children, 42 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Larry was loved and will be missed!
