Lonnie Hawk

Lonnie Gene Hawk Sr, age 82 of Harleton, Texas passed away on Wednesday January 20, 2021 in Longview, Texas.

Lonnie was born on August 10th 1938 in Linden, (Red Hill) Texas.

Lonnie spent most of his life working in the oilfield and spending his free time riding and training horses. In retirement, that became his passion and favorite hobby. He spent countless hours at the race track, training and racing his Arabian race horses.

Lonnie is survived by a brother William Lee Bogan , three children and their spouses,  Lonnie Gene Hawk Jr and wife Dee Anne, Trina Hoosier and husband Yancy Hoosier, Curtiss Hawk and wife Shelly. Six grandchildren, Landon Hawk, Lucas Hawk, Courtney Hawk, Jordan Jones, Dakotah Hawk, Ashtyn Hawk and six great grandchildren.

A private family service will be held at a later time.
