Michael Garner Obituary

Michael S. Garner, age 61, passed away on November 19, 2020, at Whispering Pines Nursing Home in Longview, Texas. Michael was born in Palestine, Texas, to Barbara McClung Garner and Therrell “Clint” Clinton Garner, Sr. Mr. Garner served in the US Marine Corps and law enforcement before earning a Master Captain license and working offshore. Mr. Garner is survived by his son Christopher Garner (Kayla) of La Vernia; and daughters Elizabeth Chambliss (Ricky) and Stephanie Robertson of Longview. He is also survived by grandchildren Corbin Robertson of Round Rock; Jackson Garner, Emma Claire Garner, and Clint Garner of La Vernia and former spouse, Janel Garner. A private family memorial will be held.
