Nelda Faye Thompson

Nelda Faye Perkins Thompson was born on February 21, 1943 in Kilgore Tx to the late Howard Allison Perkins and Sybil Jackie Fulgham Perkins. Nelda graduated from Kilgore highschool and spent several wonderful years working and caring for special needs children, and driving school bus. Nelda enjoyed cooking, reading, watching western and classic movies, but most of all Nelda loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was a loving, caring, forgiving woman whom loved the lord and it reflected in her daily life. Nelda was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Ella Ruth Taylor, Mary Jean Myers Sanders, and Katie Jacklyn Johnson.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Alton Thompson of sixty years, son Gary Thompson, son Greg Thompson and wife Nancy Thompson, grandson Cody Ballard and wife Sarah Ballard, granddaughter Chelsey Thompson, granddaughter Cassie LaBarge and husband John LaBarge, granddaughter Madison Thompson, Also Cody Thompson and wife Alex Thompson, Tasha Nix and husband Daniel Nix, great grandkids Jackson, Cody Jr, Gregory, McKenna, Keira, Carter, Reagan, Ayden.
Brother in laws James Taylor, Perry Myers, David Johnson, Joe Sanders, Bob Pinter, Sister in laws Alyne Pinter, Wilma Thompson. Nephew and nieces Howard Ferrell Perkins, Rhonda Taylor Chinn and husband Ken Chinn, Jody Sanders and wife Julyann Sanders, Laura Johnson, Amanda Parker, Jennifer Fisk and Husband Phillip Fisk, Tommy Thompson, Doug Thompson, Gayle Thompson, Clinton Thompson, Debbie Thompson, James Thompson and his wife, David Thompson, Terry Thompson, Diane Thompson.
