Patricia Kennedy Sweeney

Patricia Carol (Kennedy) Sweeney, 71, of Longview, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025. Born on February 27, 1954, in Birmingham, Alabama, to William and Opal Kennedy, Patricia lived a life full of love and dedication to her family and her church.

She was the beloved wife of Timothy Sweeney, a devoted mother to Matthew (Kristen) and David (Elizabeth), and a doting grandmother to Callie, Katherine, Ganon, Titan, Evelyn, and Joshua. Her greatest joy was her family, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Patricia is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Steve Lockhart; and sister-in-law Christine Adams Kennedy; her niece, Sara Elizabeth Lockhart; and her nephews, William Robert Kennedy, John Adams Kennedy, and Weston Brian Lockhart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Opal and William Kennedy, and her brother, Robert "Bob" Kennedy.

A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family.
