Patsy Ruth Laird

Patsy Ruth Laird, 87, of Marshall, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Patsy was born on June 13, 1936, to Ed Hollis and Mattie Lou Tooke in Marshall, Texas. Patsy graduated from Marshall High School in 1954. She married Mack McKay, December 9, 1955, and they had one daughter, Vickie, on September 3, 1956.
After the death of her husband, Mack McKay in 1968 Patsy moved to Houston, Texas and started working at National Car Rental where she worked for 35 years.
Patsy was proceeded in death by her mother and father, twin sister Peggy, husband Mack McKay, daughter Vickie Branch and many friends and siblings. She is survived by granddaughter Michelle Branch, grandson James Michael Branch and wife Rheanna. Great grandsons, Jacob and wife Cindi, Jon, Josh, Hunter and great granddaughter, Makenna Branch and one great-great-grandson Dallas Branch.
Services will be held at Jucy Hamburger in Marshall, Texas on June 22 at 12:00pm - 3:00pm.
