Robbie Dale (Hudspeth) Nelson

Robbie Dale Nelson, 64, passed away on February 6th, 2021 in her home following a recent battle with Covid-19. Though the world is a little less bright without her in it, the memories she left behind will live on in the people that were closest to her.

Born to Larry and Christine Hudspeth on July 23th, 1956, Robbie would later go on to become a celebrated police officer and narcotics agent. Though she eventually left the police force as she became a mother to two children, Lauren Waldon and Joseph Downer, she never quite learned how to not be so intimidating.

She was proceeded in death by her Father Larry Hudspeth & Her sister Kathy Wills. She is survived by her husband Richard Nelson, mother Christine Hudspeth, sister Deanna Sustaire, daughter Lauren Waldon and son-in-law Jason Waldon, son Joseph Downer, and many beloved grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will all miss her dearly.

Robbie loved anything related to antiques, though she especially loved buying them; many cherished memories were created on out of state trips when she and her husband Dickie were searching for the next great antique related find. She was a caring wife, mother and friend, who would go out of her way to help anyone and everyone if at all possible.

While Robbie will be greatly missed by those who love her, she would want, more than anything, all of them to celebrate the life she had while she was here.

Robbie will be honored at later date via a private family gathering.
