Stephen Douglas Jackson

   Stephen Douglas Jackson, was born August 12, 1952, to Ernest & Edwina Jackson of Freeport, Texas. Mr. Jackson was the youngest of 3 boys. Mr. Jackson passed away on June 7th, 2023 at 9:30 pm at GSMC in Longview, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Edward Jackson Sr.; mother, Edwina Jackson; brother, John David Jackson; and brother, Ernest Edward Jackson Jr. He is survived by his niece and nephew, Leesa and David Davis and their 3 children; sister in law, Brenda Jackson; and best friend, Rosanne Castle along with many others.
   
   Stephen Jackson was a lifelong resident of Longview, Texas where he spent his entire life servicing everyone's fashion needs as the owner of Sir Knight tuxedos until his retirement .

   Mr. Jackson was known by everyone who knew him as the most loving and kind person you could ever meet. He was charming and witty and never met a stranger. His friendship and loyalty to those he knew and loved was nothing but honorable. His unique sense of humor brought everyone to tears as he always brightened a room with his presence. Mr. Jackson will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

   The family would like to extend an invitation for anyone to attend a celebration of life ceremony to be held in Mr Jackson's honor at a later date. The family will be announcing the date as soon as the preparations have been made and would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support. Rest in peace until we meet again our sweet friend!
