Steven Earl Miller, 75, of Gilmer, Texas left his earthly life on May 1, 2020 in Longview.
He was born January 1, 1945 to
W.J. (The Hay Man) and Thelma Baker Miller in Durant, Oklahoma.
He attended Frontier Cowboy Church on FM 593, Gilmer, Texas.
Veteran of The United States Navy,
Previous Owner of Miller Tile, and worked at Lone Star Steel.
Graduate of Cobb High School Class of 1963.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Celeste and David Monk of Gilmer, Texas
Son Clayton Earl Miller of Daingerfield, Texas, Daughter and Daughter-in-law Megan and Emily Bartek
of Temple, Texas, Four grand children Darcie Nicole Strickland currently of North Tustin, CA
Samantha Jo Strickland of Addison, Texas, Lillian Cheyenne Miller of Daingerfield, Texas,
Addison Renee Malone of Temple, Texas. Two Sisters Mary Frances Skaggs of Colleyville, Texas,
Ruth Sandel of Durant, Oklahoma. Four nephews and one niece as well as numerous other family.
Special friends Betty Miller of Daingerfield, Texas and Bob Youngblood of Diboll, Texas.
He enjoyed gardening, watching football and Texas Ranger Baseball. Loved to cook and enjoyed
time with family and friends and he loved his animals.
Mr Miller was preceded in death by his parents W.J. and Thelma Baker Miller, wife Jean Lucette
(Baker) Miller, one niece Cheryl Sandel Daniel.
In Lieu of flowers, the Family asks that memorial donations be made to
National Kidney Foundation, St Jude, Wounded Warrior Project.
