Tony David Roling went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2023 at his home in Longview. Tony was born in Commerce, Texas to David and Sue Roling on February 7, 1951. He was raised in Longview, Texas and resided there until his death. He attended and graduated from Pine Tree ISD, where he grew up with the love of his life, Sheri Roberts. They married on November 21, 1969.
Tony served 6 years in the National Guard and was self-employed in and around the Longview area. He served on mission trips and taught and pastored in local churches throughout his lifetime.
Tony loved the Lord and was a man of great faith. His wife and family were his life.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Sheri. They had three children: daughter, SuAnne Toney and husband, Craig; Sonya Wells and husband, Randy; son, Casey and wife, Amanda. Grandchildren: Austin Toney and wife, Shana; Clayton Toney; Madison Newsom and husband Jackson; Addie Chavers and husband, Tristan; and Carson Roling; great-grandchildren: Adyson and Trinity, his brother, Tommy Roling and wife, Cheryl; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jim and Mary Jo Roberts, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins, his beloved dog, Molly, and numerous other relatives and dear friends.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
