Vanessa Walker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vanessa Jenkins Walker, on August 14, 2025. Vanessa passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was 62 years old, born March 26, 1963 in Linden, Texas to Carole Walker and Jesse Jenkins.
Vanessa enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved fishing, gardening, camping and being one with nature. She was happiest when she could spend time with her family and friends.
Vanessa is proceeded in death by her parents, sister Glenda Wilhelm and brother James Dodson.
Those left to remember her are her children daughter Amber Arnold and Fiancé Jamie Smith, son Jesse Walker Brasher, grandchildren Jacie, Justice and Jessa. Her sisters Tina Dutton, Shandra Jester and husband Jan, and Donna Allen and husband Johnny. She had numerous nieces and nephews, and her long time friend and companion Ralph Howard.
The family would also like to express a special thank you to her caregiver Christina Wyche for the love and devotion you showed her in the last months of her life.
