William (Bill) R. Langbartels

William (Bill) R. Langbartels, age 80 of Avinger, TX passed away suddenly on September 11, 2019 with his son Robert by his side.
He is now reunited in heaven with his wife Theresa and son, Billy.
Bill was born on October 5, 1938 in Steger, IL. He had numerous jobs starting at the young age of 12 and has always had a very strong work ethic.
He served 12 years in the USAF as a munitions supervisor stationed in England, Guam and Thailand during the Vietnam War.  
After leaving the Air Force he went to work in the Finance business working for Credit Thrift and Associates and then he worked in the oilfield business
for DJ Inspection, Tuboscope, and Enspect Technical Services.
He loved wood working and took great pride in keeping his property meticulously groomed.
He is survived by his daughter, Doreen McGill, son, Robert Langbartels, three granddaughters, Sara, Lori & Elaina and three great grandchildren, Grayson, Adelyn & Benson.
No formal services will be be scheduled.
